Indra's Net Guest Bassist Tony Levin on tour with Peter Gabriel

We are grateful and fortunate to have master bassist Tony Levin as a Special Guest on our first album!

Tony has had a busy year so far: in the spring he toured with Todd Rundgren, and several other artists; he played with Chuck Mangione and Orchestra = which was a re-union of the 1970 concert with Chuck and Gap Mangione, Don Potter and Bat McGrath, Steve Gadd, Lew Soloff, Gerry Neiwood, and the Rochester Philharmonic; and he’s been working on a new CD of his own, Stick Man.

Oh yeah, and he’s also been on a European tour with Peter Gabriel for most of June and July. The tour finishes up in August.

Be sure to check out the rough mixed Demo of our first song with Tony as our special guest.

Thank you for being here.

Indra's Net Music is Live!

Welcome to the Indra’s Net Music site! We are live today! Our intention is to provide you with some of the best “Progressive Classical” and/or “Progressive Rock” music on the planet today.

Some people say, “Gone are the days of true Progressive Rock music”; much of what is out there today that is categorized as “Prog” has a really hard “heavy metal” edge to it.

We intend to bring you the original art form of Progressive Rock, which is utilizing classical music as our foundation, while integrating pop, rock, jazz, blues, world, and studio magic = to give you an aural ambience that takes you on a journey while you listen.

We miss the uplifting, positive nature combined with fun and creativity that is the hallmark of the early 1970’s Progressive Rock. We are always open to learning and growing, and if you know of other bands in the marketplace today who are delivering this type of music, please comment here and let us know, so that we can share in the joy.

Thank you for being here.
